Aubrey's First Easter

The festivities began with a visit to Grandpa Jimmy, Auntie Kiley and Yaya. Brey has no clue now loved and blessed she is to have such great grandparents, they showered her with tons of gifts for Easter.

Oh this little girl worries me, nothing scares her!

And how can we miss church on Easter....after service!

Easter Sunday couldn't of been better. Having Aubrey to celebrate has made this Easter better than ever. We spent Easter at the park with close family and friends. Aubrey had such a blast! She participated in the egg hunt and I have to say the Easter bunny must really love her because she was well taken care of.

He rose and conquered the grave, Jesus conquered the grave!

my little easter bunny...

Now let the heavens be joyful,
Let earth her song begin:
Let the round world keep triumph,
And all that is therein;
Invisible and visible,
Their notes let all things blend,
For Christ the Lord is risen
Our joy that hath no end.

Happy Easter!

Hidden Surprise Easter Eggs Treats- RICE KRISPIES

What a GREAT way to start the Easter week! Obviously Aubrey is too little to help, but it was a great way for my little sister and I to bond. We had a blast and hopefully this is something we will both remember forever and maybe keep doing every Easter to come.

let the soaking begin!

So this past week I decided to print out verses from the bible and quotes that love. I put them on my fridge, in my room and really all over the house. I am a visual person. This will help me stay positive and each morning I can soak up something good into my soul. Even though Aubrey is so little and can't read I figured why not in her room too, I can read them to her as we get ready for the day or as we get ready for bed. I typed up a few verses made them in our favorite color PINK, will cut them and post them all over her room. Feel free to copy them and post them in your little ones room too.

Don't be selfish; don't try to impression others.
Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.
Philippians 2:3

“I am with you always.” Matthew 28:20

Every word of God proves true. Proverbs 30:5

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6:5

Whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12

Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Colossians 3:20

Every time I look at this sweet face I can't help but to think,
God must really love me...

If she only knew how much I truly love her.  Not even words can describe!

It's been toooooo long!

Wow! It has been too long since I've posted updates...I promise I have not forgotten. It's just that so much has been going on. Oh where to start???? Brey is now 5 months, will be 6 months on the 8th. I am so sad at how fast time is flying and how much she is growing from day to day. She rolls over, talks, smacks you on the face, plays with Sissy (our dog)...I swear she thinks she is grown. We are currently settling into our new place :) WE LOVE IT! We moved back home (small town) into a small white vintage/cottage house with a backyard for Sissy and Aubrey to play in. The house has great big trees and a porch that Brey and I spend a lot of time on..she usually plays while I sit on the bench drinking my coffee. I am so happy to be back in the town I grew up in and the idea of raising Brey in this town has me ecstatic. I have been wanting to come back home since the day I found out I was pregnant. I have to tell you she is quite the country girl. She loves the outside and plays with bugs when they cross her path. I promise I will update more often and post pics soon!
