2012 Resolutions

1. Be the best mom EVER

2. Go to the gym at least 2-3 times a week

3. Eat more vegetables and fruit

4. Try new recipes

5. Read at least 5 books

 6. Get my real estate license

7. Practice meditation daily

8. Read the bible at least 5 min. every single day

9. Dance more

10. Take family pictures with Sissy

11. Run in the Komen Race for the Cure

12. Get on a savings plan

13. Take more trips

14. Start volunteering

15. Try NEW things

16. Go to winery/ beer brewery

17. Get involved in church

18. De clutter the house

19. Take vitamins every day

20. Drink more water

"Vision Board"

Sooooo I am excited to announce that I am working on a "vision board" and I must say I am super duper excited! I was googling more about it and I bumped into Sarah Centrella's story. She is so inspirational and we have a lot in common. She inspired me to dream big and taught me that we attract what have inside, inside of your heart inside of your mind. So change that thought of mind and join me in this little challenge. I mean what can we loose, right?! So I started working on mine and lets just say I never realized how country I am lol yup, hunting and deep sea fishing is on there. Oh and my house with the wrapped around porch. I will post a picture when I am done. I am going to keep one at home and one in my office. 2012 is here and its time for some change!!!! I  have also started meditating in the mornings, I just wanted to rub that in LOL So since I have been reading up more on this vision board thing I have learned a lot if you want to start one today here are some pointers.

1. List at least 5 important things to you. 

2. List the life experiences you want to have.

3. There is NO BOUNDARIES!

4. Dig deep inside and DREAM, DREAM BIG!

5. Go for experiences and NOT money.

6. This is not about material things its about the experiences you want to have.

7. BELIEVE!

8. Google everything and create your board!

Jesus and the Lamb

So this morning as I was getting ready for work I was watching Joyce Meyer and she told a story that hit home and that I MUST SHARE with YOU.


You know when we are in trouble how deeply we search for God but when everything seams to be perfect we seam to forget about Him as if we don't need Him anymore. Every circumstance we go through is for us to depend on God and not our circumstances.

If a Shepard had a sheep or a lamb that was rebellious and will not follow the Shepard the Shepard will brake its legs and carry it around his neck until his legs healed by then it was so use to being next and close to the Shepard that it will never wander off again. 


Have some of you had your spiritual legs broken?
In the mist of our troubles and tribulations it seams as if we are in the darkest part of our lives but really we are in the best. It is in situations as such that you realize you cannot live without Him.

Christmas....

I know I am well overdue for a blog post. Christmas was different to say the least.  Even though things were a bit hectic I tried to make it the best Christmas for Brey Brey. She must have been a GOOD girl because boy was Santa good to her this year. My sister had a Christmas Eve party and we had a blast...I should have taken pictures of all the desserts she made. dang! She went all out, and the food was to die for.

Christmas morning was priceless. We woke up to find all the presents that Santa left.
On a serious note, we were blessed just to wake up that morning. I mean the presents was a bonus but to wake up to my little girl and have a roof over head is truly a blessing. 

MY LIFE!

After all the opening present nonsense we got ready and headed to Gmaws and Papis house! Mom made some homemade posole and tamales...and boy was it YUMMY! The house was full of crazy kids and crazy grown ups. I love having a BIG family! 

And finally....we had a surprise visit! Coby and Celisa came to visit, oh how we love them! The kids dont know it yet but we are planning their wedding!  

So what do you think? Pretty good Christmas huh.... I mean in the mist of a lot of chaos! 

I hate to say it but thank GOD the Holidays are over and cheers to a New Year. The New Year is here just in time for a NEW start!

Hope you all had a GREAT Christmas! Oh and sorry I missed "What Im Loving Wednesday" life has been so chaotic that I didnt realize it was Wednesday until my head hit the pillow.

Ha! She did so well. I am so proud.

At first she was going to cry but then Santa handed her a book and she got over it.

Xmas Lights & Team Lunch

So after a lot of planning and rescheduling we can finally cross out "go see Christmas lights" thank you sweet baby Jesus! Jay has been working so much lately it is hard to do anything. Well we had so much fun and Aubrey was soooo excited. I did the whole Britney Spears thing and carried her on my lap..I know, I know shame on me. We were only going like 5 mph people. Aubrey loved the lights she wouldn't even blink, it was the funniest thing. Here are some pics!

So today was our Team Christmas Lunch at Churrascos and boy was it yummy! I heard brunch is DELISH, its now on my to do list.

mommy & daughter weekend

So this weekend was all about Aubrey and I, you know kinda like a mommy & daughter weekend. Saturday started off with cleaning, cleaning and well more cleaning I finally needed a brake SO Aubrey and I bundled up and headed to the park. Its so nice living about a block away from the elementary school. I don't think I will ever move away from this side of town....

Then TODAY, Sunday we called it a shopping/ crafting day...my kinda day!

We did a little groceries shopping, Christmas shopping and wrapped it up with some laptop shopping...oh yes! That's right, momma got a NEW laptop.

Aubrey was so funny it was like she new exactly what we were doing, she was great! I added some ribbon and sprayed it down with glitter.
