O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

Our Christmas tree is up PEOPLE!

Had chili on the stove, a new dessert (from my pinterest) in the oven and Elf on TV.

Jay and I watch that movie about 100 times during Christmas time every year,

def one of our fav movies!

This year was much more special because we had Aubrey to share it with.

Haha she was so funny...she was so excited she didn't know what to do.

She kept laughing and giggling.

Such a special moment for Jay and I...She was so happy I asked her "Aubrey are you HAPPY?!" and she blurred out "HAPPY" another word added to her vocabulary. Proud Momma! 

So I am sure you all know I am OBSESSED with pictures

and well that is our theme for this years tree.

2006 ornament - 2011 ornament

I love our tree more than any other year...It makes me happy every time I see it!
I love everything on it from our yearly ornaments to our pictures and the rustic feeling to it.
I love that I even have an ornament from our first Christmas back in 2006.
Ahhh what a GREAT idea Hallmark! Did you see this years ornament "our nest" with 3 eggs in the nest representing Jay, Aubrey and I.

Our Thanksgiving 2011

So our thanksgiving was AMAZING to say the least. We had 2 Thanksgivings the first one was at moms house on the actual day and the second one was at my sisters house the day after....my sister and I did most of the cooking with moms help of course. We had SO MUCH food it was ridiculous 3 turkeys, mac&cheese, mash potatoes, green bean casserole, corn souffle, cranberry sauce, stuffing and the dessert list was also ridiculous... This year we missed our other side of the family "The Kalls" (sad face) they had Thanksgiving at the beach house about an hour away from us and well with Miss Priss traveling/ staying over is out of the question. She wont sleep anywhere but in her crib...can you say DIVA and if she is asleep the house has to be completely quiet. Anyways overall we had a GREAT Thanksgiving, here some the pics!

Thanksgiving Round 2

This year we drew names for xmas gifts for all the grown-ups excluding our parents and the kids.
I cant tell you who I got, its a secret!

Oh what a fun time we had and even though we had 2 Thanksgivings I am not turked out...imagine that!
